Women’s Emergency Shelter

The Women’s Emergency Shelter consists of 5 bachelor suites located on the first floor of Harbour House, one of which is an office. There are four beds in three suites, for a total of 12 emergency shelter beds.  We also have one suite with six beds designated as a family shelter suite.

It is important that there is a safe place for women and children to stay when they have run out of options.  We find this of particular importance because of the extreme variances in Saskatchewan’s weather conditions,  from heat waves to cold snaps, rainstorms, floods, and snowstorms – living outside is not an option most days of the year in our climate.

Women needing a place to stay are encouraged to come to the shelter between 5-10pm.  The staff on duty will be available to help meet your needs.  Supper is also served at the shelter each evening at 5pm.

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Sunday (7:00 am – 10:00 am and 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm each day)
