In July of 2008 we officially opened “Harbour House”, an apartment building that was constructed through a partnership with the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.  This independent living facility has 20 bachelor suites and 5 one bedroom suites available to the public. It was built with a focus on energy efficiency, so as to minimize not only the operations cost for Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, but to minimize the tenant’s cost for utilities as well!

Harbour House is located within walking distance of the downtown core. There are also bus stops nearby.

Harbour House is an alcohol and drug free apartment complex. No alcohol or illegal drugs will be allowed on or in the premises, and failure to comply with this policy, as per the tenant rental agreement, will result in eviction.

Current rental rates, as of October 1^st, 2010 are as follows:

Bachelor Suites
$500.00 per month, with a damage deposit of $500.00

1 Bedroom Suites
$650.00 per month, with a damage deposit of $650.00

A handicap bachelor suite and a handicap 1 bedroom suite are also available at a cost of $600.00 per month and $750.00 per month respectively.

It should also be noted that tenants may qualify for the Disability Housing Supplement. Additional information and assistance is available upon request.
