Shacking Up or Shackled?
Tonight I had to bar someone from the building. You'd think this would get easier by now. But, as I sit here in the dark stillness of a quiet office, head in hands, I feel shaken. Saddened.
I told this couple that their living in sin was a bad example for our residents and until they chose a more Biblical way, which is, not having sex before marriage, they were not welcome in our building anymore, except to talk to one of the Directors for counselling.
Why do people choose to gratify their own selfish desires and lusts, even at the extent of cutting themselves off from the people who love and support them the most?
I told them I loved them and sent them on their way.

Hi, I'm a friend of Rebecca Cochrane's, and I have to say that you are probably one of the wisest bloggers I've read. I'm so happy to see people not afraid to do what's hard in order to honour God.
Bless You!

What makes you think just because they were living together that they were having premarital sex. I live with my fiance and have for 2 months and we sleep in seperate beds every night and do not have sex.
Thats a pretty ridiculous thing to do because how can someone find christ and be taught the right and biblical thing to do if there being kicked out of the church?
